Rhys was born to a wealthy merchant family in the town of Landsmeet, though his father's family owned land within the Kingdom of Geheim. He is the second oldest of his father's children, birthed by the same mother as two of his brothers. He remains second oldest though his father had taken a new wife who bore him four more children. Out of all his father's children Rhys is the only one with exceptionally poor vision, a result of his mother falling deathly ill during her pregnancy.
Due to his poor vision and the constant supervision such a disability required, Rhys' family decided the boy would do best at a Monastery. He was sent away to a small monastery in his mother's home kingdom of Aerlion at the age of Four. He remained at the monastery until the age of fourteen. During his time he was tutored in languages, the current religious ways, and other skills that would one day prepare the young boy to become a monk. He received occasional visits from his family, though mostly from his mother and eldest brother.
During the winter of his thirteenth year, Rhys' abilities manifested naturally one by one. By the time the spring thaw came and the mountain passes were open again, all of Rhys abilities had surfaced and upon his arrival to the Monastery of St. Antistias the boy had reached the age of fourteen. At St. Antistia's Monastery the young man was taught to use his abilities. Like others before him with a number of abilities, most were very weak in their use. His time spent at the monastery also provided him with many other skills, such as using his walking stick as a weapon in self defense, among other things.
Rhys now remains at the monastery, leaving only when it is absolutely necessary for him to do so. Here he teaches the new arrivals, instructing them in the ways of any shared abilities until they have surpassed his teaching level and moved on to other mentors.
Sabvir's intelligence level is similar to a Human Toddlers. She shows problem solving skills but will become frustrated with multiple failed attempts and scurry off to pout before trying again. Being so small has it's downsides- the weasel must consume between 40 % - 60% of her body weight to sustain her high mobilization. Her diet is mostly built of raw eggs (from birds or otherwise), small mice and any insects she can find. Along with multiple snacks and treats from her handler. Her small size can deceive many in regardless to how ferocious the creature can be. Armed with sharp claws for digging burrows and clinging onto prey. Weasels are known to be able to take down creatures double their size, and while that may not be necessarily larger than a well fed rabbit in Sabvir's case, her jaws full of sharp teeth meant for shredding flesh could still do damage to an unsuspecting human. Because Sabvir is so small she has a hard time producing enough body heat to keep herself healthy during the cold winter months in the mountains. She spends most of the colder months sleeping in the pouch of her handler and only comes out to eat. Unlike most other weasels whose coats change colors with the seasons, Sabvir's remains a permanent tone of clean white.
Emeria is rated 3/2/2 by the RPGRating.com system. This rating means that, in addition to less intense scenes, we also permit the use of foul language, and some kinds of graphic violence and sexual scenes. But don't worry, that doesn't mean that that's all you'll find here! Threads which surpass a PG rating will be marked as such, which will prevent any accidents.
